Warta Ekonomi Apresiasi 41 Perusahaan Asuransi Lewat Indonesia Best Insurance Award 2025

Warta Ekonomi Group memberikan penghargaan kepada 41 perusahaan asuransi yang dinilai memiliki komitmen kuat dalam memberikan perlindungan bagi masyarakat melalui ajang Indonesia Best Insurance Award 2025: Recognizing the Resilience of the Insurance Industry and Its Role in Shaping the Future of Protection. Acara ini digelar di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Rabu (27/8/2025).

Ajang tersebut menyoroti kinerja perusahaan asuransi yang mampu mencatat pertumbuhan positif di berbagai indikator sekaligus menunjukkan daya tahan dalam menghadapi dinamika global maupun domestik tahun ini.

Seperti diketahui, ketegangan geopolitik, pergeseran arah kebijakan moneter global, hingga fluktuasi pasar keuangan internasional menuntut sektor asuransi tidak hanya bertahan, tetapi juga bertransformasi secara adaptif dan inovatif.

CEO & Chief Editor Warta Ekonomi, Muhamad Ihsan, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa tekanan yang dihadapi industri asuransi nasional tidak mudah. Tingginya beban klaim, kebutuhan penyesuaian teknis dan akuntansi, serta melemahnya daya beli masyarakat menjadi tantangan utama pelaku usaha.

“Industri asuransi sedang menghadapi tantangan nyata bahwa beban klaim tinggi, penyesuaian teknis dan akuntansi, pelemahan daya beli masyarakat, kemudian tingkat penetrasi yang rendah, serta kewajiban ekuitas minimum yang cukup membuat pusing para pemilik modal," tuturnya.

Berdasarkan riset, Warta Ekonomi menemukan 96 perusahaan asuransi mampu bertahan dengan beradaptasi dan terus melakukan transformasi digital yang menjadi kunci memperkuat daya saing industri.

“Hasil media monitoring menunjukkan, dari 123 perusahaan asuransi, tercatat 96 perusahaan aktif melakukan inovasi produk dan transformasi digital, menghasilkan efisiensi sekaligus peningkatan pendapatan,” ujarnya.

Ketua Umum Asosiasi Asuransi Umum Indonesia (AAUI), Budi Herawan, membenarkan bahwa industri asuransi kini menghadapi tuntutan adaptasi tinggi seiring implementasi PSAK 117 hingga kewajiban ekuitas minimum sesuai POJK 23.

“Kita menghadapi satu proses paralel untuk implementasi PSAK 117 di mana tahun ini yang dilakukan audit adalah laporan keuangan versi PSAK 117 tapi pajak perseroannya dikutip dari PSAK 104 yang notabenenya belum diaudit. Ini suatu tantangan besar bagi industri kita," ungkap Budi.

Budi, yang akrab disapa Paduka, juga memaparkan bahwa perlambatan ekonomi berdampak pada pertumbuhan premi asuransi, meski rasio klaim masih sehat.

Pada kuartal II/2025, kinerja industri asuransi umum hanya mencatat pertumbuhan premi 5,8% year on year, sementara klaim naik 1,4% year on year. Kondisi ini membuat rasio klaim industri berada pada level sehat, yakni 36,2%.

Ia berharap penghargaan ini menjadi simbol dedikasi sekaligus momentum memperkuat tata kelola dan resiliensi industri asuransi ke depan.

“Penghargaan yang diberikan malam ini bukan sekadar simbol prestasi, melainkan cerminan komitmen dan dedikasi seluruh pelaku industri dalam menjaga keberlanjutan dan membentuk masa depan perlindungan di Indonesia,” tutupnya.
