Inilah Perusahaan Pemenang Indonesian Insurance Consumer Choice Award 2016

Pertumbuhan ekonomi global terus mengalami pemulihan meski berjalan lebih lambat, didorong revisi proyeksi perekonomian emerging markets. Sampai dengan akhir tahun 2015, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tercatat sebesar 4,79% yang ditopang oleh permintaan domestik dan ekspansi belanja Pemerintah baik untuk investasi maupun konsumsi yang mulai meningkat.

Secara umum kondisi industri keuangan domestik masih terjaga baik, dengan stabilitas yang memadai. Pertumbuhan aset dan kredit Bank selama 2015 didukung oleh tingkat kesehatan bank (CAR) yang meningkat jauh di atas threshold. Pertumbuhan aset juga terjadi di seluruh lini bisnis Industri Keuangan Non Bank (IKNB). Di sisi lain, tekanan terjadi pada Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan yang mengalami penurunan selama 2015 akibat perlambatan ekonomi global dan ketidakpastian kenaikan Fed Fund Rate.

Namun demikian, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) mencatat sepanjang 2015 aset industri asuransi jiwa hanya tumbuh 2%, atau terendah dalam 5 tahun terakhir. Sejak 2010 hingga 2014 rata-rata pertumbuhan aset asuransi jiwa ialah 18%. 

Tekanan tidak hanya dialami industri asuranji jiwa, industri asuransi umum juga mengalaminya, tahun yang lalu premi bruto yang dikumpulkan oleh industri asuransi umum adalah sebesar Rp. 58,9 trilyun ( 4,41 milyar US $), naik 6,7 % dari tahun 2014 sebesar Rp. 55,2 trilyun.

Kenaikan tersebut sangat rendah bila dibandingkan dengan rata-rata pertumbuhan premi bruto selama 5 tahun sebelumnya dari tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2014sebesar 17 %. Rendahnya pertumbuhan premi bruto tahun 2015 terutama disebabkan oleh rendahnya perolehan premi asuransi property dan otomotif yang merupakan porsi terbesar dari total penerimaan premi bruto.

Dalam konteks tersebut industri asuransi di Indonesia dituntut untuk memiliki inovasi produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Untuk memberikan apresiasi kepada perusahaan asuransi yang berkinerja baik serta memberikan inspirasi kepada perusahaan-perusahaan asuransi lainnya menjadi hal yang penting untuk pelaku industri ini.

Warta Ekonomi sebagai perusahaan yang memiliki misi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan bisnis asuransi akan mengadakan malam penghargaan Indonesia Insurance Consumer Choice Award 2016, Kamis (29/9/2016, di Jakarta.

Dalam melakukan penilaian penghargaan Indonesia Insurance Consumer Choice Award 2016, Warta Ekonomi melakukan dua pendekatan yaitu desk research dan dan hasil survey kuantitatif tim riset Warta Ekonomi. Untuk pendekatan desk research, perusahaan asuransi dibedakan menjadi tiga kategori yaitu perusahaan asuransi umum, jiwa dan reasuransi. Kemudian Perusahaan umum dan jiwa dikelompokkan berdasarkan pendekatan jumlah aset yang dimiliki, yaitu:

1. Perusahaan Asuransi Jiwa

a) Aset lebih dari Rp 27 Triliun

b) Aset lebih dari Rp 10  - Rp 27 Triliun 

c) Aset lebih dari Rp 6 -  Rp 10 Triliun 

d) Aset lebih dari Rp 2 - Rp 6 Triliun 

e) Aset lebih dari Rp 1,5 - Rp 2 Triliun 

f) Aset lebih dari Rp 400 Miliar - Rp 1,5 Triliun 

g) Aset lebih dari Rp 250 - Rp 400 Miliar 

h) Aset kurang dari Rp 250 Miliar 

 

2. Perusahaan Asuransi Umum

a) Aset lebih dari Rp 5 Triliun 

b) Aset lebih dari Rp 2,5  - Rp 5 Triliun

c) Aset lebih dari Rp 1,5 T - 2,5 T 

d) Aset lebih dari Rp 900 Miliar – Rp 1,5 Triliun

e) Aset lebih dari Rp 600 – Rp 900 Miliar

f) Aset lebih dari Rp 400 – Rp 600 Miliar

g) Aset lebih dari Rp 300 – Rp 400 Miliar

h) Aset lebih dari Rp 200 – Rp 300 Milar

Penilaian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan analisa laporan keuangan, Warta Ekonomi tidak memasukkan perusahaan asuransi yang tidak mengeluarkan laporan keuangan, serta perusahaan asuransi yang sedang dalam pembekuan kegiatan usaha dan perusahaan asuransi yang dicabut ijin usahanya.

Selain penghargaan berdasarkan pendekatan laporan keuangan 2014-2015, Warta Ekonomi juga melakukan riset kuantitatif dengan metode face-to-face interview dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur terhadap 1.800 responden yang merupakan nasabah pemegang polis dari berbagai perusahaan asuransi yang sudah memiliki polis selama minimal 3 tahun.
